    The managing member of the company completed his articles with one of the big 4 professional services firms, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and he has gained extensive and considerable experience in accounting & auditing, management consulting, training & development, payroll administration and business advisory. Over the years his clients have included, ABSA Bank Limited, Southern Sun Managed Resorts, Resinkem (Pty) Ltd, Integrated Office Automation (Nashua KZN) and various Municipalities and Government Departments. His duties while at PwC included planning and executing audits, advising clients on IFRS and PFMA compliance issues.

    Before joining PwC, Simo worked for Standard Bank as a customer consultant from 1998 until 2000. In 2001, he moved to Standard Corporate and Merchant Banking ((SCMB)) and worked as a business consultant until June 2003. His duties amongst others, entailed:

  • Managing overall client satisfaction and relationships;
  • Managing a portfolio of clients;
  • Understanding the client's business and working with them to identify and capitalize on marketing opportunities;
  • Helping clients interpret the results of their financial statements;

    Simo is currently employed by Ukwakha Consortium as a business manager. Ukwakha is a consortium of eight companies that was employed by the KZN Department of Economic Department (KZNDED) to manage an SMME fund. The SMME fund was created by the KZNDED to help small and emerging entrepreneurs access finance.
